It was really expensive too.

A. Why? What happened?

B. Well, first they showed me how to work the till. Then they

A. Content de te revoir ! Comment se sont passés vos
vacances d’hiver ?

B. C’était génial, merci.

A. Avez-vous fait quelque chose d’amusant ?

B. Oui. Nous sommes allés à New York.

B. C’était génial. Nous avons mangé de la bonne nourriture et
vu des spectacles incroyables. Nous sommes également
allés patiner à Rockefeller Centre.

Dialogue 2

A. Salut ! Comment était ce nouveau restaurant ?

B. Ce n’était pas terrible.

A. Vraiment ? Qu’est-ce qui n’allait pas ?

B. Eh bien, d’abord le service était horrible. Puis la nourriture
était froide. L’addition était aussi vraiment chère.

A. C’est décevant.

B. Oui. Nous avons été vraiment déçus.

A. Sans doute !

Dialogue 3

A. Avez-vous obtenu ce poste de travail ?

B. Oui ! J’ai commencé lundi.

A. Comment s’est passé ton premier jour ?

B. Eh bien, c’était (pause) intéressant.

A. Pourquoi ? Que s’est-il passé ?

B. Eh bien, d’abord ils m’ont montré comment travailler la
caisse. Puis ils m’ont laissé tout seul dans le magasin.

A. Vraiment ? Comment ça s’est passé ?

B. Ça s’est bien passé, en fait. J’ai travaillé jusqu’à 22 h et je
n’ai pas fait de grosses erreurs.

A. Bravo !
