Dear Sophie,
In your last letter you asked me how I usually spend my day here in London.
Well, let me tell you:
On a normal weekday, I get up at 6 (six) o’clock in the morning. I go for a run in the park I then have a shower and get dressed. I eat breakfast at 7 (seven) o’clock.
My husband drops the children off at school at 7:30 (seven- thirty). Then he goes to work.
I tidy up the house and then I go to work at 8 (eight) o'clock.
At 4 (four) o'clock I finish work and then I pick up the children from school. We arrive home at 4:30 we always have a cup of tea and a biscuit.
After that the children do their homework and I prepare the evening meal. We have dinner at 7 (seven) o’clock. In the evening we often watch television and chat about our day. I usually go to bed at 10 (ten) o’clock.

Chère Sophie
Dans ta dernière lettre, tu m'as demandé comment je passais habituellement ma journée ici, à Londres.
Bien, laisse-moi te raconter :
Une journée typique de semaine, Je me lève à 6 heures du matin. Je vais courir dans le parc. Puis je prends ma douche et je m’habille. Je mange le petit déjeuner à 7 heures.
Mon mari dépose les enfants à l’école à 7h30 (sept-trente). Puis il va au travail.
Je range la maison et puis je vais au travail à 8 (huit) heures.
À 16 heures, je finis le travail et je vais chercher les enfants à l’école. Nous arrivons à la maison à 16h30, nous prenons toujours une tasse de thé et un biscuit.
Après cela, les enfants font leurs devoirs et je prépare le dîner. Nous dînons à 19 (sept) heures. Le soir, nous regardons souvent la télévision et discutons de notre journée. Je vais au lit généralement à 22 (dix) heures.
