A: Excuse me, is there a cash machine near here? I want to get
some money.
B: No there isn’t. But there are some banks.
A: Are there any post offices?
B: No, but there’s a newsagent with an ATM.
A: Oh good. Is it far? I’m tired.
B: Not at all. It’s just behind you. But it’s closed on Sunday.
There’s a big supermarket on the high street and it’s open
every day.
A: What’s it called?
B: Its name is Good Buys.
A: Thanks very much for your help.
B: My pleasure.

A: I’m lost. Can you tell me the way to Low Road?
B: Where is that?
A: Apparently, there’s a supermarket with a cash machine.
B: Oh, you mean the high street? You’re almost there. You turn
left at the traffic lights on West Street. Take the first street on
your left and then the second on your right after the
roundabout. There are two small bakeries and a corner shop.
Good Buys is next to the new petrol station.
A: That’s too far! Have you got any money?

A: Excusez-moi, y a-t-il un distributeur de billets près d’ici ? Je
veux retirer de l’argent.
B : Non, il n’y en a pas. Mais il y a des banques.
A : Y a-t-il des bureaux de poste ?
B : Non, mais il y a un marchand de journaux avec un DAB.
A : Ah, OK. Est-ce que c’est loin ? Je suis fatigué.
B : Pas du tout. C’est juste derrière vous. Mais c’est fermé le
dimanche. Il y a un grand supermarché sur la grand-rue qui est
ouvert tous les jours.
A : Comment s’appelle-t-il ?
B : Son nom, c’est Good Buys.
A : Merci beaucoup pour votre aide.
B : Je vous en prie.

A : Je suis perdu. Pouvez-vous m’indiquer le chemin pour Low
Road ?
B : Où c’est ça ?
A : Apparemment, il y a un supermarché avec un distributeur de

B : Ah, vous voulez dire la grand-rue ? Vous y êtes presque.
Tournez à gauche au feux de signalisation sur West Street.
Prenez la première rue sur votre gauche et puis la seconde sur
votre droite après le rond-point. Il y a deux petites
boulangeries et une épicerie. Good Buys est à côté de la
nouvelle station-service.
